I'm a simple girl, born & raised in a small town. I learned to draw at an early age from my dad & later graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Art Education and a minor in Art History. I love, practice, and teach all forms of visual art: drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, fibers, metals, mixed media, photography, graphic design, ...you name it, I have, or would like to try it! I draw inspiration from many sources including my family, my students, my pets, music & concerts, nature, my many various interests & travels, & just everyday life.
I've lived in PA, TX, VA...& who knows where I'll wander to next. Wherever I am, however, I hope to always share my arts & crafts, as well as my talent for teaching art & art history.Whether I am teaching a course or just exhibiting my art work, I hope to inspire others & make a positive impact on the community & contemporary art scene. I don't want to work to live; I want to live to work...& make this world a more beautiful, colorful place in the process.
